ABC CONSULT

The acoustic design for ABC Consult's office was developed with a focus on creating a more efficient, comfortable, and productive work environment, especially since it is a shared space for employees. The major challenge was reconciling acoustic performance with architectural guidelines, while maintaining the exposed metal ceiling—an important element of the building to be preserved—without compromising the sound quality of the spaces.

To ensure privacy and focus in the collective work areas, sound absorption strategies were adopted throughout the space, reducing noise propagation and improving speech intelligibility between teams. Since it was not possible to install partitions in the suspended ceiling due to the characteristics of the metal ceiling, the solution adopted was to intensify the acoustic treatment in this area, using high-absorption materials in the suspended ceiling, directly reducing sound transmission between environments.

In the meeting rooms, the challenge of acoustic insulation was resolved with specific construction solutions that guarantee confidentiality without interfering with the aesthetics of the project. In the booths designated for phone calls and video calls, in addition to internal treatment for clear speech, careful isolation from adjacent areas was paramount, preventing the use of these spaces from impacting the rest of the office.

Another strategic element was the development of the large sofa as an active component in the acoustic performance of the environment. Designed with sound-absorbing characteristics, it allows for informal conversations and meetings without negatively interfering with the collective workspace.

The result is a balanced environment, aiming to promote well-being, privacy, and high performance, meeting the contemporary demands of corporate spaces.
