LARGAR TRAGALUZ BH RESTAURANT

The acoustic design for the Lagar Tragaluz restaurant in Belo Horizonte, located in the Diamond Mall Shopping Center, was developed with the challenge of translating the already established sensory atmosphere of the Tiradentes, MG, unit into a new urban context. The architectural proposal emphasized natural materials, scenic lighting, and a welcoming environment—elements that, from an acoustic point of view, required careful solutions to balance aesthetics and performance.

In the large dining room, where there is intense occupancy and interaction between customers, the project prioritized the control of reverberation and ambient noise, promoting auditory comfort without compromising the characteristic liveliness of the space. To achieve this, acoustic materials were strategically incorporated into the ceiling and also over the pergola in the area with the highest ceiling, discreetly absorbing sound while remaining integrated into the architectural design.

In addition to the main dining room, a specific treatment was developed for the space reserved for meetings and private events. In this environment, the focus was on both internal acoustic conditioning—ensuring clear communication—and isolation from the rest of the restaurant, guaranteeing privacy and avoiding sound interference between uses.

The result is a space that maintains its welcoming and sophisticated identity, but with acoustics carefully designed to provide comfort, sound quality, and a complete experience for users.
