ESPAÇO É-TERNO | MOSTRA MODERNOS ETERNOS BH 2022

This project, entitled "Eternal Space," was conceived for the Modernos Eternos 2021 exhibition in Belo Horizonte as a sensory experience that transcends traditional architecture and approaches the realm of art.

More than just an environment, it is a territory of introspection—a space that shelters and provokes at the same time. Music, poetry, art, fashion, and architecture coexist within it, in a composition that invites the user to pause, contemplate, and question. A place where opposites meet: full and empty, useful and useless, silence and sound, lightness and density.

Acoustics play a central role in this experience. The fabric ceiling, designed like a large moving curtain, acts as a sound-absorbing element, creating a quieter, more intimate, and welcoming ambiance.

Natural light, filtered through openings and fabrics, interacts with the space throughout the day, creating visual effects that intensify sensory perception. Sound, light, texture, and form intertwine to construct an atmosphere that is not only seen but felt.

The result is a space that goes beyond function—it evokes emotion. An environment that welcomes memories, awakens the senses, and invites reflection, where acoustics are not merely technical but an essential part of the aesthetic and sensory experience.
