The acoustic design for Garagem do Cab, attached to the Cabernet Butiquim restaurant, was developed in complete harmony with the architectural concept of the space: a vibrant, colorful, and relaxed environment that translates the essence of a good Minas Gerais-style bar—now with a focus on the world of wine. The challenge was to create a comfortable sound environment without losing the project's striking visual identity, ensuring that conversations flow naturally and that the customer experience is complete, involving not only taste and aesthetics but also sound.

To achieve this, acoustic solutions were carefully integrated into the existing architecture. On the lower ceiling, acoustic materials were applied and laid out respecting the beams and installations and maintaining the same red tone, preserving the language of the space. In the higher areas, acoustic panels were also inserted following the existing beams and installations, contributing to reverberation control. Near the tables, acoustic wall panels, combined with indirect lighting, directly absorb sound at its source, improving speech intelligibility and comfort during interactions.

In the connecting corridor between the two restaurants—in the restroom area—the acoustic strategy was essential to prevent the propagation of unwanted noise. The application of black acoustic material, in addition to complementing the lower ceiling height, contributes to sound attenuation, preventing sounds from this section from interfering with the experience in the main dining areas. The result is a harmonious space, with integration from the beginning between the architectural and acoustic design to create an engaging, welcoming, and technically balanced environment.
