MRV MEETING ROOMS

The acoustic adaptation project for the MRV Group's Board of Directors' meeting rooms was developed from the challenge of transforming two independent environments into a single integrated space without compromising acoustic performance. The solution had to respect existing conditions, especially the preservation of the original ceiling, requiring precise strategies for reverberation control and improved sound quality. To allow for flexibility of use—whether for two simultaneous side-by-side meetings or one large integrated meeting—large acoustic fabric panels and acoustic frames specially designed for the rooms were incorporated, ensuring efficient sound absorption and listening quality in different configurations.

In addition to internal conditioning, the project also focused on improving acoustic insulation in relation to adjacent work areas. Interventions in the existing wooden partitions were carefully planned to reduce sound transmission, ensuring privacy and comfort for users. The result is a versatile and strategically planned environment that meets different usage dynamics with a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and high acoustic performance.
