HOME STUDIO APARTMENT ANCHIETA

The design of this home music studio, implemented in a residential apartment, was developed with a focus on high acoustic performance combined with integration with the interior architecture.

The main guideline of the project was the control of acoustic insulation, ensuring that the use of the space—including musical practice—did not impact the other rooms of the apartment or neighboring units. To achieve this, specific construction solutions were adopted, with carefully detailed sealing systems, ensuring adequate levels of sound insulation and privacy.

Internally, the studio was conceived to provide sound quality and acoustic fidelity. The geometry of the space and the ceiling design were conceived to avoid unwanted reflections between parallel surfaces, reducing phenomena such as flutter echo and sound coloration.

Custom-developed acoustic diffusers were incorporated into the environment, promoting homogeneous sound dispersion and contributing to a balanced acoustic response. In addition, absorbent materials were strategically integrated into the wall coverings, often imperceptibly, ensuring efficiency without compromising the aesthetics of the space.

The result is an environment that combines technical performance and architectural language, where each element — from the ceiling to the walls — was conceived in an integrated way from the initial stages of the project, ensuring acoustic comfort, sound precision, and an immersive experience for the user.
