This home music rehearsal studio project, developed within a residence, stemmed from an essential premise: to create a high-quality acoustic space that would not be an isolated and closed environment, but rather an integrated part of the house and the living experience of its inhabitants.

Unlike traditional studios, this space was designed to open up and interact with other internal spaces and also with the external environment, allowing rehearsals to transform, when desired, into moments of performance and social interaction. This integration required careful attention to the balance between acoustic performance and spatial fluidity.

From the initial stages, the acoustic design was developed in conjunction with the interior architecture project, ensuring that each element had a dual function—technical and aesthetic. The geometry of the ceiling was designed to act both in sound diffusion and sound absorption, avoiding energy concentrations and promoting a more homogeneous distribution of sound in the environment.

Diffusive elements were strategically incorporated, as were absorbent materials integrated into the wall coverings and the use of curtains, contributing to reverberation time control and sonic clarity during rehearsals. This combination allows for a balanced, comfortable, and musically precise environment without compromising the space's visual identity.

The result is a studio that goes beyond technique: a welcoming, integrated, and sensory environment, designed to enhance the musical experience of a worship group, where sound quality combines with intention and emotion, creating a truly special space within the residence.
