CAM NEW HEADQUARTERS

The acoustic design for the new administrative headquarters of Clube Atlético Mineiro, located in Arena MRV, was developed to meet the needs of a large, integrated corporate environment with high usage intensity. The proposal stemmed from the need to acoustically organize the space, reducing sound propagation and creating more controlled work zones capable of promoting concentration and individual performance. The strategies adopted considered the scale of the environment and the diversity of activities, using solutions that balance sound absorption, spatiality, and architectural identity.

Support areas, such as common areas, break rooms, and multipurpose spaces, were designed to withstand higher sound loads without compromising the rest of the office, especially since, in some cases, they are connected to the main shared workspace. Spaces intended for meetings, calls, and video calls received specific solutions to ensure clear communication and minimize external interference. In the senior management offices, the focus was on creating more private and acoustically protected spaces, ensuring comfort and confidentiality. The entire construction system — including masonry and lightweight partitions — was carefully detailed and monitored on-site, ensuring technical consistency and high acoustic performance throughout the entire structure.
